Course Description
Welcome to Dad's "Hand Me a Wrench" Rally!!!!
1. The Starting gate will begin with a Southerly approach to the middle of the bleacher where a blue pylon
will mark the enterance to the course. The pilot will turn on smoke & anounce "Smoke on".
2. An immediate left 90º turn is in order to set up for a run to the W green goal post.
3. Once through the MIDDLE of the green goal post, a left 270º turn to parallel the green goal post &
execute another left 270º on the N side of the green goal post to exit the MIDDLE of the goal post.
4. Aiming the agile RV-8 to the bleachers, our pilot must traverse through the 1st set of blue pylons to the
2nd set, where a knife-edge maneuver is to be performed, then on through the third set of blue pylons.
5. At the E end of our course is a yellow goal post where the pilot shall go through the MIDDLE
of the yellow goal post, make a left 270º turn to parallel the yellow goal post, then on the S side of
yellow, another left 270º turn will get executed to pass through the MIDDLE of the yellow goal post.
6. Upon exiting the yellow goal post, our next objective will be to head to the blue pylons at the bleachers.
Getting through the first set of blue pylons will set the racer up for a knife-edge at the 2nd set to show off for
Pops and point their plane at
the third set of blue pylons.
7. Now our World-class pilots will redo the course with all right hand 270º turns to finish in the middle
of the bleachers exiting to the N!
6. At the finish line, The racer must call & turn off the airshow smoke.
I hope you folks like the course.
